VIRTUAL WAITING ROOM: SUPPORT CHAT

GO TO

  1. Administration → Resource Management → Resource Setup
    VWR Resource Setup
  2. Select USER → Permission → Support Chat
    VWR Selection
  3. When a USER is logged in, the  Toggle Chat button will appear on the lower right hand-side of the screen.
    Once the Toggle Chat button is clicked, the chat box will pop open (figure 1). In the instance where a patient is in the VWR and has engaged in a chat, the box below will appear for the practice user (figure 2).

STEPS

  1. Enable Support Chat for the Practice User. 
  2. Toggle Button allows the user to engage with patient. 
  3. Once the conversation is over, the user can simply X out of the chat window.
