Sending Documents via Fax
To send a document from a patient chart: Utilize the Quick Patient Search Bar to look up the patient’s account. Upon finding the patient in the search results, right-click on their name and choose EMR All Notes.
In the EMR All Notes section, choose the document(s) you wantto fax. Next, click Send Selected Documents to proceed with the faxing process.
Afterward, you will be directed to a new window where you will be asked to input the recipient’s details for the document(s). You can enter the Fax Number manually or you can pull information directly from the Address Book by clicking on the Address Book icon . You may enter comments as necessary then click Send Fax.
To ensure successful fax transmission, do not close this window until the Close Window tab appears.
To ensure that faxes have been successfully sent, goto the Documents tab > Fax/Print Log.
Faxes that have been sent recently and were successful, will display a green background, while unsuccessful ones will be marked with a red background. To resend unsuccessful faxes, choose View Result and click on Resend Fax.
Sending A Document Along with a Patient’s Note
To send a document along with a patient’s note, select the note you want to send from the EMR Notes section, then select the document by checking the check box. The click on Send Selected Documents button.
