MANUAL NOTE CREATION
Various methods for accessing a note when the patient is not listed in Today’s Appointment List.
GO TO
Quick Patient Search > Type the Patient’s Name.
Option 1: Right click on the Patient’s Name and select Create New Note.
Option 2: Under Recently Viewed Patients, right click on the Patient’s Name and select Create New Note.
Option 3: Point to the Patient’s Name under Recently Viewed Patients. Under the EMR section, select Create New Note.
Option 4: Go to the Patient’s EMR All Notes then select Create New Note.
NOTES
- If you will be creating notes after the actual appointment/date of service, make sure to change the clinical date by clicking the calendar icon within the note and choosing the corresponding date of service. Select Update to save the changes.
