The Current Procedures Carryover Feature

Healthcare providers often spend excessive time manually re-entering the same procedural data for recurring patient visits. This repetitive process can lead to inefficiencies, errors, and inconsistent documentation. The Current Procedures Carryover Feature is specifically designed to solve these challenges by automating the carryover of procedural details from previous notes, ensuring workflow efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in clinical documentation.

Key Benefits
• Automatically inserts previously used CPT codes, diagnosis codes, modifiers, units, and comments into new patient notes.
• Saves time, reduces errors, and maintains consistent documentation.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for enabling and using this feature effectively.

To utilize the Current Procedures Carryover feature, it must first be enabled in your EMR Preferences.
