Re: | Suppress Follow-up Appointment Reminders |
- Suppress Follow-up Appointment Reminders
We’re excited to introduce the Automatic Suppression of Follow-up Appointment Reminders feature, designed to enhance the patient experience, streamline communication, and optimize appointment management.
With this new functionality, once a patient confirms their upcoming appointment, any follow-up reminder notifications will be automatically suppressed. This eliminates the need for redundant reminders, reducing unnecessary communication and ensuring that patients receive only the most relevant information. By cutting down on excessive notifications, this feature helps maintain a more focused and streamlined communication flow, benefiting both patients and healthcare providers.
Key Benefits
• Improved Patient Experience
Patients won’t receive unnecessary follow-up reminders after confirming an appointment.
• Streamlined Communication
Reduces redundant notifications, making communication more relevant.
• Optimized Appointment Management
Ensures that only the most important information is shared, keeping patients and healthcare providers aligned.
Note:
If the 7-day appointment reminder is enabled, patients will receive two reminders. However, if a patient confirms their appointment upon receiving the first reminder, which is sent 7 days prior to the scheduled appointment, the subsequent reminder will be suppressed.
