We are thrilled to announce a significant update to the Online Questionnaires feature aimed to enhance the management of questionnaires within the EHR and Patient Portal. Practice administrators can now customize which questionnaires are available for patients and providers, streamlining the process and improving overall efficiency.

Managing Patient Questionnaires

Practice administrators can now manage their library of questionnaires directly from the EHR by navigating to Administration > EMR Setup > Patient Form Management.

Access to this page is restricted to users with EMR & Medication Admin permissions.

The Patient Form Management displays a list of all questionnaires available in the practice, organized by category and sorted alphabetically. This list varies by specialty and practice.

Practice Administrators can easily locate specific questionnaires using the search option. You can also filter by category or patient portal availability for more precise results.

Questionnaire details can be viewed by selecting the PDF or View icon.

Additionally, administrators can add tags or brief descriptions to any questionnaire by clicking the edit button. Changes are saved by selecting Submit, with updates reflected in the description column.

Managing Patient Questionnaires

Practice administrators will now have the ability to enable or disable questionnaires from the Patient Portal and EHR.

Patient portal availability can be modified by selecting the edit button on the desired questionnaire and checking or unchecking the Patient Portal box. Selecting the Patient Portal box allows patients to access the questionnaire while leaving the box unchecked restricts access to the EHR only.

To manage EHR access, select the Archive button. A confirmation popup will be displayed; selecting Yes will archive the questionnaire and move it to the archived list.

Archived questionnaires are no longer accessible to both providers and patients.

To reinstate a questionnaire, click the Unarchive button.

These updates provide practice administrators with greater flexibility and control over questionnaire management, ultimately enhancing both administrative efficiency and user experience.
