We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new feature that equips you with the ability to initiate the export process for specific patients and obtain a comprehensive set of data with just a few clicks, whether it’s for continuity of care or patient data transfers between healthcare providers.

Individual Patient Export

You can now initiate the export process for a specific patient within the EHR. To initiate an export, please follow the steps below:

  1. Search for the specific patient.
  2. Right-click on the patient’s name to access the EHI Export section.
  3. In the EHI Export page, click “Request Electronic Health Information” to initiate the process.
  4. A new row will be added with a “pending” status, signifying the export request.
  5. Once the file generation is completed, a download link will be available in the status column. Click this link to download the zipped file to your local library.

Comprehensive Data Set

The export file generated contains all relevant electronic health information for the selected patient. This includes:

  • CCDA File: Standardized clinical data in xml format
  • CSV Files: Patient demographic details, billing information, scheduling data, and patient notes in a convenient CSV format.
  • HTML Files: All encounter notes in in EMR All Notes page are included in HTML format
  • Documents: Any additional documents associated with the patient in EMR Notes & Documents page

User Permissions & Clinical Logs

Patient Manage permission is required to access the Electronic Health Information page.

You can also access detailed clinical logs to view information on who initiated the export and who downloaded the exported file. Here’s how:

    1. Navigate to clinical logs
      a. Administration > Logs > Clinical Logs
    2. Filter event type to “Patient Health Record

The comprehensive log details:

  • User who initiated the export
  • Date & time of the export request
  • User who downloaded the exported file
  • Date & time of the download
