External Collections Report

GO TO

BILLING → REPORTS → EXTERNAL COLLECTIONS REPORT

STEPS

  1. Select a DATE
  2. Filter by patient name or status: patient responsibility, pre-collections, or collections
  3. Select ‘Run Report’
  4. You can manually move accounts to another status by selecting from the dropdown options under Action column and select the SET button to update

NOTES

  • An external collections report will show a list of patient accounts in Patient Responsibility, PreCollections, and Collections status.
  • This data is only available if the practice has Transworld, a third-party collections agency.
  • Once a patient account status is changed to pre-collections or collections status, all updates going forward, regarding the account submitted, such as payments, will need to be checked on the TSI portal.
  • You can change the settings of the External Collections Report by going to Administration > Billing Setup > External Collections
