Dear Valued WRS Health Users,

We’re reaching out to inform you of an important update to our EHR system.  As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best possible tools for patient care, we will be sunsetting the legacy Medications page. 

This transition coincides with the launch of Medications 2.0 – a redesigned and more powerful version that delivers improved medication management, streamlined workflows, and better integration across the EHR. 

This upgrade marks a major step forward in delivering faster, more accurate, and easier-to-use medication tools.

 

Key Points

  1. Transition Timeline: The old Medications page will be phased out over the next month. During this period, both the old and new pages will be accessible to ensure a smooth transition.
  2. Final Sunset Date: Effective December 1, 2025, the legacy Medications page will be retired. All users will automatically be redirected to the new Medications 2.0 page, providing a faster, more reliable, and modern medication management experience.
  3. Data Migration: All existing medication data will be securely migrated to the new system—no action is needed on your part. All records will remain intact and accessible in Medications 2.0.
  4. Training Resources: Comprehensive training materials are available on the eLearning website to help you navigate the new Medications 2.0 page.

Why We’re Making This Change

The new Medications 2.0 page offers numerous significant enhancements over the old system, including:

  • A modernized interface with collapsible menus, tabs, and resizable components
  • Personalized workflow with drag-and-drop functionality
  • Enhanced search and prescribe features with smart search
  • Real-time prescription tracking
  • Improved medication history visibility, including external medications
  • Streamlined re-prescribing process

These improvements are designed to save you time, reduce errors, and ultimately enhance patient care.

 

Next Steps

  1. Start using the Medications 2.0 page as soon as possible to familiarize yourself with its features.
  2. Review the available training materials in eLearning.
  3. If you encounter any issues or have questions during the transition, please contact our Support Team.
