We are pleased to announce that we’ve optimized the timing of automated phone call reminders to better support patient engagement and reduce reminder fatigue.

Previously, patients received multiple reminder calls — typically 6, 4, and 2 days before their scheduled appointment. While well-intentioned, this frequency sometimes led to confusion, message fatigue, and even missed critical calls due to overexposure.

 

New Reminder Call Timing

Patients will now only receive a reminder call 2 days before the appointment date, and only if the appointment remains unconfirmed.

✅ Appointment confirmed 2 days before the appointment

📵 No reminder call will be sent.

❌ Appointment unconfirmed 2 days before the appointment

📞 A reminder call will be sent to the patient.

 

This update ensures that reminder calls are timely, actionable, and less intrusive, helping patients stay informed while minimizing unnecessary interruptions.
