Overview: Appointment Status Indicator

The Appointment Status Indicator allows users to specify whether a patient appointment is for a New Problem or a Follow-Up using a simple selection option. Identifying the appointment status improves care continuity tracking and reporting accuracy, ensuring a more efficient and structured approach to patient visit management.

This user guide outlines the steps on how to add an appointment status indicator to an appointment and view the same indicators in the Appointment Search View.

Adding the Appointment Status Indicator

Go to Scheduler > Appointment View > New Appointment.

In the In the New Appointment interface, select the Appointment Status to specify whether an appointment is for a new problem or a follow-up to a previous visit.
